| MESSAGE: | i had the opportunity to listen to the whole tdfs album. to make it short: i LOVE it and i recommend it to everyone listening this. the songwriting is excellent (and after listening to the new tracks played at tribal gathering ´97 and that shitty expo-one i did not really expect much) and the production is absolutely great. watch out for that sub-bass.
the only thing worth being criticized: the re-recorded tdf original at the end is a bit disappointing and does not reach the high tension of the original 1983 recording.
i´ve been waiting for this for 17 years - thanks, boys. |

I think the samples seems very great and I am glad the masters are back. As a difference to a few others in this forum I am more than pleased with the alsters and I am also looking forward to the album. I just hope that this will not be the last one and that they will not keep us waiting for another 17 years.
No to a question: Why not make the flashpictures at the startsite as ordinary pictures so one could save them as wallpapers etc. I do not know how to save flashpictures for that purpose.

| MESSAGE: | I have been a fan of Kraftwerk since the 80's, I've always considered them to be the masters of electro music and I have had the privilege of seeing them live in concert on the 12/07/1991 at the Apollo, Manchester, England.
When I heard the new TDF 2003 single I have to say I was a little disappointed, but I'm glad to say the Long Distance version is better, no matter what, I'll be in the queue for the next concert, can't wait to hear the rest of the album.
Before I go, I would just like to say that this site is the best around, great video's, images, news etc.

| MESSAGE: | Okay, since they're back, I dug up an interesting audio tidbit that I started as a discussion on the kraftwerk mailing list some years ago.
The Robots:
The intial Russian phrase is roughly translated to be - "I am your slave and your worker"
In my youth - many years further back I didn't know it was Russian and I reversed it (played backwards) and it seems pretty clear - "Nobody owns me, no one sells me"
